Melbourne Sports and Aquatic Centre - MSAC The Original!Hydrautech provided the Aquatic Engineering design of this iconic World-Class facility for the D&C contractor. Hydrautech have been engaged several times over the life of MSAC to design improvements including backwash water recovery and rainwater harvesting.

Oran Park Leisure CentreAquatic Centre featuring a 50m Lap Pool with Moveable Boom, Spa Pool and Leisure Pool with Toddlers Pool and Rapid Track "Horizontal Slide" Water Feature inspired by the Oran Park Raceway. The design for this project was recently completed with construction expected to commence later in 2022.

Bundaberg Aquatic Centre
A landmark Aquatic Centre for the City of Bundaberg featuring a 50m Lap Pool with Moveable Boom, 25m Lap Pool and Program Pool with Hydro-Zone. Advanced hybrid dual heat pump / gas heater design. The design for this project was recently completed with construction expected to commence later in 2022. |
Kew Recreation CentreA challenging engineering design for new pools constructed on an elevated structure across a restricted site over a carpark below. 25m Lap Pool, Learn-to-Swim Pool, Program Pool, Spa Pool and Leisure Pool with Splash Pad and Water Features. This project is currently under construction with completion expected in 2023.

Aquanation Ringwood Aquatic CentreA World-Class facility and one of Victoria's leading Aquatic Centres with 10m diving tower, 75m Competition Pool (split with two Moveable Booms). This competition focussed venue also offers extensive Leisure, Learn-to-Swim, Hydrotherapy, Water Features and Water Slides.

Aquarena DoncasterA complex project completed over 6 individual stages. Multiple redundancies, change-overs and pre-purchase of water treatment equipment managed for the client. 50m Lap Pool, 25m Lap Pool, Program Pool, Spa Pool, Learn-to-Swim Pool, Toddlers Pool, Splash Pad , Water Features and Water Slides.

Taurama Sports Centre Papua New GuineaHydrautech specified modular pool structures and designed pool water treatment systems that could be successfully constructed in Papua New Guinea. Pools provided with both heating and cooling systems to suit seasonally variable temperatures. Rainfall diversion system provided for outdoor pools.

Bayfit Aquatic Centre AltonaHydrautech provided the Aquatic Engineering design for the complete redevelopment of the existing Aquatic Centre including a 25m Lap Pool, Leisure Pool and Toddlers Pool.
An existing pool shell was converted to a rainwater tank with stored water treated and used for pool water supply. |

Sea Life Melbourne Aquarium Upgrade WorksIt's not easy to move a large shark - another project for Hydrautech. As a part of refurbishment work that required draining the main aquarium, Hydrautech provided the design to allow the existing Life Support Systems to remain operational during this sensitive project.

Heat Recovery and GeothermalHydrautech was engaged to design a replacement pool water treatment plant for the Portland Leisure and Aquatic Centre in Western Victoria. This commission involved the redesign and recommissioning of an existing geothermal water supply used for heating of the entire facility.

A World First! Doone Kennedy Hobart Aquatic CentreHydrautech provided the design for the heating upgrade works at this unique project. Heating is provided by two independent systems; water-to-water heat pumps and gas-fired boilers. The source water for the heat pumps is treated effluent from the nearby sewage treatment plant - yes seriously and it works brilliantly!
